The GP ring keeps your knot centered at all times leading to better holding power and less abrasion from the split ring rubbing on your connection. These are especially great for making double assist hook rigs to keep the hooks in one place. These rings are stamped so the break rating is extremely high compared to their size unlike welded rings, the smallest 3mm size is still a 300lb rated ring and it is very tiny. For most heavy applications you would want the #5 and #6 rings, if you’re making up rigs to use with lighter 20-60g jigs or smaller assist hooks then you can get away with using the #3 or #4 sizes.
These come in packs of 12 across all sizes, and have a corrosion resistant coating to keep them from rusting quickly making them a great option to have long term on your jigs.
