The Outrage series has been a popular higher end lineup of rods in Japan and now we get our own version as well. These conventional jigging rods are a new and much improved version of the Saltiga series that came out in the US a few years ago, featuring better guides and an improved ergonomic reel seat. Along with that you also get a blank with quite a bit more backbone and a broader range of jigs that you can work with.
These rods will be great for all around speed jigging covering most species besides the bigger night time bluefin, although the 58XXH model will be able to go toe to toe with 100lb bluefin. The rest of the models will work great for daytime tuna, yellowtail, ling cod, grouper and much more.
These rods are rated for braid so take line classes with a grain of salt when comparing them to rods rated at a US spec mono.
