These Deckhand fish bags are a great alternative to some of the other bags on the market, they have high quality stitching and material and do not leak like the Reliable bags we’ve offered for year. The leaking isn’t necessarily a problem since it keeps your fish colder longer but it can get messy when you don’t have a truck bed to toss the bag in for transport. Each bag has two drain ports, one on each side which is very convenient for emptying them out. All of the hardware used feels durable and they have just the right amount of ergonomics to be able to carry the bag with multiple people if needed, or even with a fork lift at the fish processor since the largest bag has an option for straps that are made for it.

Another interesting feature is the addition of optional foam inserts for keeping the bag from rolling or moving around as the water or ice moves, it adds baffles that keep it from sliding around with the swell. Each zipper has a tag end which makes them easier to pull and zip up, they even have clips that secure the bag shut before zipping them up to make it that much easier.
