Fish spikes are very convenient tool to have in the arsenal since you can quickly and easily dispose of fish to keep them from moving around. This tool is perfect for the Ikejime technique which is the best way to preserve your fish and keep the meat in top shape, but it will also work well as a normal spike. 

You can use this spike in a few different ways since it is threaded on all sides and middle. The total length of the spike is 100mm or about 4" and you can have it screwed in at the end or the middle like a T shaped spike.
