Daiwa has finally entered the tungsten game in the US by bringing over one of the most popular TG lures in Japan, these lures have been very effective for bluefin fishing on the sport boats both during the day and at night and should be a part of everyones arsenal. When the fish are keying in on small bait these are one of the few lures that continue to get bit, they're only 4.15" long while weighing over 6.3oz so you can still get away with fishing them on a heavy 80lb or 100lb setup. 

The TG Bait has asymmetrical sides, one flat and one rounded so they have more action on the retrieve making them a great option for traditional speed jigging as well. They're effective for yellowtail as well as tuna when jigged. We recommend using 1 or 2 assist hooks on top connected to a welded ring then using a split ring to attach the jig so that you are not pulling directly on the eye which can fail under extreme pressure due to how tungsten jigs are wired. 

While these jigs are only in the US as a single special order with Daiwa at the moment, depending on how well they do we are able to bring in more including the 18 other colors they make.
