The 2024 version of the smaller Certate SW's is meant to bring the series in line with the newest Saltiga reels, bringing in some of the improvements they've developed in shape as well as external materials. It's not a huge revolutionary step but these are certainly nicer than the previous generation at a similar price range. These are enthusiast reels so they are on the higher end of spinning reel price points, with that comes all of the latest and greatest technology Daiwa has to offer including their unique frame design, Mag Sealed roller bearing and body and huge duralumin main gear.
